Welcome

Welcome to the site of Greyhound Pets of America's Tennessee Chapter.

Our mission is to place retired racing greyhounds into loving, caring homes. Since greyhounds, like humans, have differing personalities, it is important to us that we match each dog with the home best suited for both the dog and the home. Browse our site and learn more about this majestic breed.

Dixie Lee Farmer’s Market Event

on Thu, 08/25/2011 - 11:22

We will be at the Farragut Dixie Lee Farmer's Market on Saturday, May 19th from 9 till noon--unless it rains or is too hot for the greys! Please come out and support our group--and help us spread the word about our wonderful greys! We will be under a tent with plenty of greyhounds to meet and knowledgeable volunteers to answer your questions and help you learn more about living with this unique breed. You will also find wonderful produce, organic meats, usually honey, delicious salsa, a baker of artisan breads, a plant nursery and more!

Dixie Farmer's Market is located in Farragut at the Renaissance Center on Kingston Pike between Campbell Station and Watt Rd. Any questions?? Call or email any time!

Meet & Greets

on Thu, 01/26/2012 - 22:38

Meet & Greets are a wonderful way to meet Greyhounds up close and to talk to their owners about the joys of adopting an ex-racer. Meet & Greets are hosted by GPA-TN volunteers who usually bring their own pets or the greyhounds being fostered.

You are more than welcome to attend a Meet & Greet near you to meet some lovable hounds, scratch a few ears, and gather information about our organization. Click on the "Read more" link below to find out where the next Meet & Greet will be held.
