Gretel |
Gretel is a 2 ½ year old small black girl with a white bib and the tips of her toes. She has a wonderful personality and a quirky tilt to her head and ears that just makes you smile. Maybe that’s partly because she never knew her name and now we’ve picked her a new one? She was called “Dreamsicle” but all possible variations to that bring absolutely no response from her. So, we’ve picked her a sweet one for a cute little girl and she is learning it fast. She will weigh shy of 60 lbs when in shape. An old fracture of her right rear lower leg slows her down on the stairs a bit, but not much else! She should take it easy and not be expected to be an athlete in retirement. She is fine with our 11lb rat terrier and cat tested OK for cats at the track. Very affectionate and interested in all that is going on around her, she is a DOLL! Come and meet her! |

Calamity |
Calamity “Jane” (We are calling her CJ – Calamity is too long and cumbersome to add to any directive.) is a petite black female with white on her throat, chest and all toes, who will be three this month (Nov). She has a terrific personality and is enthusiastic, once she understands something. She has mastered stairs, enjoys mealtimes, takes treats nicely, and loves having discovered squeaky toys. CJ is small dog friendly and cat friendly, even with our barn cat (outdoors). Now that she has soft beds to lie on, she does not think she will miss the track at all. A quick learner, inquisitive, and affectionate pretty much describe CJ, who is looking forward to a forever home. Come meet this terrific girl! |

Vince is a shiny, black boy with a few white markings. He is sweet and cuddly, and has adapted well to his foster family. Vince is an active, playful 4 year old who is ready for a forever home. |
